🌊 1. The Post-Dive Ritual
After every dip—whether it’s the Mediterranean, a chlorinated pool, or a freshwater lake—rinse your headband thoroughly in fresh water. Salt crystals and chemicals can break down the elastic fibers over time if left to dry.
☀️ 2. Shade is Your Friend
We know the sun feels great, but UV rays are the enemy of neon and deep blues. Dry your headband flat in a shaded area. Avoid hanging it by the straps, and never leave it on a boat deck or dashboard in direct sunlight for extended periods.
🧼 3. Gentle Touch Only
If your headband needs a deeper clean (to remove hair products or sunscreen):
- Hand wash only in cool water with a mild detergent.
- Do not use bleach or fabric softeners.
- Do not tumble dry.
